Our Story

Founded in 1987 by Prof. Dhanapala Ovitagedara and Dr. (Mrs.) Sunila Ovitagedara, former lecturers of the University of the Visual & Performing Arts, Manahari began as a vision to create a holistic center for education and creativity.
What started as a small initiative has now grown into a multifaceted institute that bridges academic learning, performing arts, event management, and research. Guided by our founders’ belief in the power of education and culture, Manahari continues to inspire, educate, and empower generations of learners.
